Intersectional feminism has emerged as a
highly influential approach in many social science disciplines (political
science, sociology, education, etc.) and in policy formulation from the global
to the local. This course considers intersectionality and global politics from
the standpoint of ‘intersections’ with issues such as race, gender, class, age,
immigration status, religion, disability, among others. In this section, the
course will explore the debate of intersectionality mainstreaming and its
application.
Date and time: Wednesday, March 23 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
