The Alice Wright Franzke Feminist Award commemorates the life and works of Alice Franzke, Ph.D., St. Mary's Professor of Sociology from 1982 to 1989. Franzke was commited to human equality, justice and peace, and embodied the spiritual and civic values that the award commemorates.
