In celebration of International Women's Day and presented by the Greehey School of Business with the support of Morgan Stanley, join us to discuss the history of women in the financial industry from the origins of Wall Street to the 21st century. Panel discussion and book discussion, Wednesday, March 8, at 3:30 p.m. in Albert B. Alkek, Room 107, followed by a networking event in the Alkek Atrium.
Panel members include local women of industry, alumni and students, who will discuss the unrelenting success despite historic underrepresentation of women in finance. The Greehey School of Business will also announce a Women in Finance student organization that will partner with industry organizations to share career knowledge and support, networking and mentorship to foster career opportunity and success. Â
Join us for discussion, book review and a celebration of the success of women in finance. Â
The panel will be moderated by Valerie Ballesteros, D.B.A., Instructor of Finance. This event is part of Women's History Month.
