This presentation is part of the Creating Spaces for Change: Opening Minds to Adaptation and Change Series and will focus on the evolution of Chicana Feminism as a movement, its correlation to Intersectional Feminism, and the future of feminism. Dr. Cantú-Sánchez will discuss feminists like Gloria E. Anzaldúa and Chela Sandoval alongside influential works of Chicana feminist literature and theories like This Bridge Called my Back and This Bridge We Call Home. Join us as we contemplate the ways in which women’s stories grounded in “theories in the flesh” might empower us all.
